Bidders must place their perceived lowest amount which will not be known to other bidders. The bidder who is able to bid the lowest unique amount is announced winner, and pays 1 cedi for any item won via Vodafone Cash.

It’s really simple. Bidders must place the minimum amount which will not be known to other bidders. The bidder who is able to bid the lowest unique amount is announced as winner after the closing of the auction.

Bidders are charged 50 pesewas after placing and confirming their bids via USSD whilst in session.

Yes. Bidders can choose a bid bundle of their choice, either auto-renewal or one-time purchase.

A bid placed by a bidder is cancelled when another bidder places the same amount for a given item in a daily or weekly bid.

Yes. A bidder can place multiple bids to increase chances of winning.

- Daily bids open at 08:00 am each day, and closes at 7:00 am on the next day.


- Weekly bids open every Sunday at 08:00 am, and closes the following Sunday at 7:00 am.

No. A bidder who submits the lowest unique bid after close of auction cannot be declared a winner.

Bidders can bid any amount greater than 0, but should not go beyond 2 decimal places.

To win an auction item, a bidder must place the lowest unique bid.

The winner of each GrabIT auction is contacted via SMS or voice call.

Winner must pay 1 cedi for any item won.
Payment is strictly via Vodafone Cash

Yes. Winner must make payment within 24 hours after close of auction.

If a winner is unable to make payment of 1 cedi for the item within 24 hours after being contacted, the bidder with the next lowest unique bid shall be given the opportunity to pay for the item.

Items can be redeemed at vaious YIL Money Plus retail points across the country 48 hours after making payment of 1 cedi for the item won.

No. Unlike gambling where the return on your upfront investment is directly related to luck, GrabIT is a lowest unique bidding auction in which success depends on the exercise of skill and judgment by participants.
